Calibrating the QNX Touch Screen

 

The instrument touch screen may need calibration from time to time to adjust the pressure spots on the screen for proper alignment. Follow these steps to calibrate the touch screen:

  1. Choose the Calibrate button on the touch screen then select the touch screen button, , or select Calibrate/Touch Screen from the instrument control menu. The following will be displayed on the touch screen.

  1. Press the center of the target with your finger or any blunt object. The target will move to another corner of the screen.

  2. Press the center of the target again. Repeat until you see the message: Press to Complete Calibration.

  3. Press the blue button. If you do not press it or if the screen needs calibration again, the calibration will be repeated.
