Q1000/Q100 Motor Test

The individual motors of the instrument can be executed using the Autosampler Motor test functions. To perform an motor test, follow these steps:

To test the motors follow these steps:

1. Press AUTOSAMPLER on the Control Menu Touch Screen. NOTE:  The DSC AutoLid is automatically opened when the Autosampler Control options touch screen is accessed.

2. Press TEST on the Autosampler Control options touch screen. The touch screen shown below is displayed.

3. Select the desired motor to test by using the up and down arrows to locate the test.

4. Check to make sure that there are no obstructions to impede the motor's actions.

5. Hold the TEST key on the Autosampler Test Options touch screen to move the selected motor.

6. Release the TEST key to stop the motor.
